In a world where countless romantic novels and Hollywood blockbusters promote the idea of “perfect love,” a renowned relationship coach has challenged the age-old belief, asserting that the notion is unrealistic and potentially harmful to modern relationships.

For centuries, tales of fated encounters and true love have been passed down through generations, shaping societal expectations of finding an ideal partner who can fulfill every emotional need.

relationship coach Nanayaa Prempeh argues that these expectations can be detrimental to the way people approach love and partnerships.

“You will never find anything like perfect love, it doesn’t exist, there is nothing like perfect love,” she asserted.

She added that, “You can have someone who fits what you want, but not necessarily perfect, you may find a partner with a perfect body but the brains may not be there.”

Nanayaa, who has spent over a decade guiding individuals through relationships explained that, the imperfections we possess are a purposeful divine creation, ensuring we remain humbly aware of our humanity.

“God makes us remember that we are human so we don’t have everything.”

She emphasised that real love is messy, imperfect, and requires effort from both partners. She also highlighted the importance of communication, understanding, and accepting each other flaws as key ingredients for a lasting relationship.

Imperfections make love genuine and beautiful, so the next time you’re dreaming of a fairy-tale romance, remember coach Nanayaa’s wise words; “perfect love does not exist.”
