Ghanaian actress and socialite Efia Odo recently recounted feeling a lack of fulfillment during a period when she had stopped worshipping Christ.
She recalled that her upbringing was strongly centered on Christianity, and that she was raised with values that closely mirrored the Christian faith.
The socialite disclosed that her desire to pursue a personal relationship with God led her to stop going to church and eventually stop worshiping Christ, which left her feeling empty.
Efia has now announced that she has chosen to return to Christ and worship Him wholeheartedly, despite any opinions or criticisms from others.
She also noted that she is a member of The Makers House Chapel.
In separate news, Efia Odo has criticized the popular “Kiki Challenge” trend, condemning participants for what she views as disrespectful behavior towards Christianity in their suggestive videos.
In a post on Sunday, June 23, Efia Odo slammed the challenge, writing “That kiki challenge is a disgusting challenge. Do all the sexy shit yall want but leave Christianity and the church out of it. Yall not afraid of God and will do anything cuz it’s a trend.”
The viral #KikiChallenge involves women filming themselves dancing to the song “Kiki” by Fuse ODG and Leftizzle outside and then cutting to them in more intimate locations like bedrooms.
Many of the videos show the women starting outside dressed modestly with bibles in hand before the scenes change.
