Davido and Chioma received a surprise new car as they exchanged vows today.

Davido surprises Chioma with new car as wedding gift

During the star-studded ceremony in Lagos, a video captured the moment the couple was presented with a brand-new white car.

The car gift is reportedly from a company to show their love and support for the power couple.

Given Davido’s well-known passion for cars, a car gift for him at his wedding is always a perfect choice. He arrived at the ceremony in a 2023 Mercedes Maybach, celebrated for its luxury and exclusivity.

The 2023 Mercedes Maybach Virgil Abloh S680, a collaboration between Mercedes-Maybach and the late Ghanaian-American designer Virgil Abloh, is an iconic vehicle with only 150 special-edition sedans produced worldwide.

It was undoubtedly a distinctive choice for Davido’s special day. The singer shared his arrival on social media, chauffeured amidst tight security and cheered on by fans. His caption read, “Nigeria is happy.” Within two hours, the post garnered over 70,000 comments on Instagram.

Since making their relationship public in 2018, Davido, the Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, and Chioma Avril Rowland, a chef and influencer, have been in a well-documented on-and-off relationship.

In 2019, they became engaged and welcomed their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, later that year. Sadly, Ifeanyi passed away at the age of three in a drowning accident. Despite this tragedy, Davido and Chioma were later blessed with twins.

Throughout their journey, they have confronted challenges including allegations of infidelity, breakup rumors, and intense public scrutiny. Nonetheless, the couple persists as a formidable pair, consistently drawing attention.

They formalized their union in a legal marriage in 2023 and are currently celebrating with a lavish ceremony.
